Locked out of LAMPS?

Modified on Wed, Sep 3 at 1:20 PM

In order to protect LAMPS from hackers, a maximum of five password attempts is allowed in the login page. After five unsuccessful password attempts, your account will be temporarily locked. This will also apply to any device on the same IP address, so other work computers on your network may also be locked out.

How long will my account be locked?

Your account will be locked for 2 hours after the fifth unsuccessful password attempt. After two hours you can attempt to log in.

What should I do if my account is locked?

Utilize the reset password function on the login page, and securely store your new password. After two hours you can  attempt to log in again.

How can I prevent my account from being locked?

If your password is not working after a few attempts, use the Forgot Password link to reset your password and try again.
